Statuettes of the Returned

A number of small statues (perhaps a hand high) were found depicting historical figures. All that I have seen so far were of Returned that were with us there. Each was accompanied by a card or document with something written on it about the person depicted. It would be very helpful to list them here, if anyone has such.

Reveka speculated to me that these figures were similar to "Domikons," small statues that the Tharacians kept - small clay or metal figurines that represented all of the members of the family, at their various ages. Extremely fancy and ornate figures became common in the later Empire, and many craftsman in the cities could make a good living producing custom Domikons for wealthy clients. It was equally common for more cosmopolitan types to dispense with the practice entirely, considering it childish and outmoded. The figures represented the family giving honor to ancestral gods.
